Overview
These Terms of Service apply to the Ready Steps website and app operated by Ready Steps LLC. By using Ready Steps, you agree to use it only in a lawful and responsible manner that complies with these terms.
Caregiver responsibility
Ready Steps is intended for use with caregiver involvement. Caregivers are responsible for account setup, device configuration, selected apps, learning goals, reward settings, and supervision of a child's use of the product.
Educational support only
Ready Steps provides educational and home-practice support. It is not medical advice, clinical treatment, behavioral therapy, a diagnostic tool, or a substitute for professional care. Ready Steps LLC does not guarantee learning, developmental, clinical, or behavioral outcomes.
Screen Time and device controls
Ready Steps may use Apple platform features, including Screen Time and Family Controls, to support app access and reward flows. These controls depend on Apple APIs, device settings, operating system behavior, user permissions, and selected apps. Ready Steps LLC cannot guarantee that device controls will always work without interruption.
Accounts and access
You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and use Ready Steps only for children or devices you are authorized to manage. You may not misuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to Ready Steps or related systems.
Subscriptions and billing
Ready Steps offers paid subscription access. Consumer web subscriptions are sold through RevenueCat Billing, with Stripe processing payments, and iOS subscriptions may be sold through Apple's App Store. The applicable checkout provider displays prices, renewal terms, trials, cancellation options, taxes, and refund policies. Subscription access is associated with your Ready Steps account and may be used across supported platforms when you sign in with the same account.
Privacy
The Ready Steps Privacy Policy explains how Ready Steps LLC handles information. By using Ready Steps, you also agree to the privacy practices described there.
Product changes
Ready Steps is in active development. Features may change, pause, or end over time. We may update these terms as the product develops, and we will post the updated version on this page.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Ready Steps LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, device access, app availability, learning progress, or expected outcomes arising from the use of Ready Steps.
